MUA Luxe London Pretty Edgy Eyeshadow Palette – Review & Swatches:

I bought Make Up Academy's Pretty Edgy Eyeshadow Palette last Eid from Just4Girls.pk on sale. It is a real gem of eye I must say.

This beautiful palette comes in a sturdy packaging. On back of this kit shade names are written i.e, starting from top left antique, bow, toile, ruffle, flounce, lace, sinful, gothic, wrath and envy.

Inside you will find 10 eyeshadows and a full length mirror which comes in very handy, above six shades are velvety finish with a nice shimmer in them and below four shades are matte. It also has an eyeshadow applicator which i never cared about much and never even dared to use.

The colour payoff is very good of almost all shades.
                                          Swatches of velvety shimmer shades

                                          Swatches of Matte Shades

The above six shade are very easy to blend. Those matte shade are a little tricky to blend. All ten colours are wearable. I usually use matte shades Sinful and Wrath in day time. I have managed different looks with these eyeshadows from simple looks to smokey eyes. My favourite shades are Envy, Lace, Bow and Toile.

There is a very minor fallout from shimmery shades which never bothered me much because that's unnoticeable. Staying power of these shades is around 6 hours without primer. With primer it can stay as long as 8 hours.

In essence, this palette comes handy for both everyday looks and night party makeup looks.

PROS:
  • wearable shades.
  • Nice combo of shimmery and matte shade.
  • Gorgeous packaging.
  • Great colour payoff.

CONS:
  • Matte shades are hard to blend.
RATE:
On a scale of 1 to 10.
8.5/10
