Ramazaan:
This Ramazaan is quite tough because of the hot weather and scorching sun on our head. It's quite difficult to keep our bodies hydrated with 15 hours of fasting.
We have to drink 8 glass of fresh water to keep our body hydrated but it is not easy to drink this much water in the Holy month of Ramazaan then how can we keep our body's hydration needs fulfilled?
- Make it a mission to accomplish to drink at least 4 to 5 glass of fresh water after iftar till sehri. Nothing can take place of that refreshing feeling we all get when we drink fresh and clean water in Iftar, no laal sharbat or cold drink or smoothie can gave us that feeling. It is one of the best blessings, that Allah Has given to us.
- Avoid oily things like pakoras and samosas and replace them with healthy fruits like water melon. You can eat it at it own in iftar or you can also make a water melon smoothie which is quite famous among us Karachities in hot summer weather. Try to eat fruits only in iftar like grapes, bananas, melon etc.
- If you don't like to have dinner after iftar like me, then you should try eating healthy salads to keep your body hydrated and healthy. Or you can also eat some veggies on their own to fulfil your body's needs. Cucumbers are good source to keep your body hydrated. Beside cucumber you can also eat tomatoes. If you are willing to eat salads then you can put cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce all together, they all are a good source of hydration.
If you stick to this diet this whole month of Ramazaan, you will not only be healthy but you will also not that your skin has also became smooth and more refreshed, as all these things are good for skin. Your face is your health's window, whatever you eat will be shown on your face. If you eat oily and junk food your skin will be more prone to pimples.
