Essence’s Soft Touch Mousse 08 Matte Vanilla - Review:

To select a perfect foundation is the base to do good and natural looking makeup without making yourself look like a clown. I am very keen in choosing what foundation I have to apply. when I go for casual outings with friends or family, I simply apply my pond's BB cream. When I have to attend to weddings, I like to do heavy makeup and choose to apply Krylon's TV paint stick. There was no in between for me, so I decided to buy a mousse. Never used one before. I searched the web and after reading many positive reviews about essence's soft touch mousse I bought it with full faith, because I have a very good experience with almost all of their products.

Lets, first discuss its packaging as always. It comes in a transparent glass jar with plastic cap of same colour as the shade of mouse. I sometimes fear that I might drop it. But otherwise its packaging is simple and good. I bought it from Chase Up Value Centre but you can also find it on just4girls.pk for 710 Rs. The only thing is that bothers me is the inside product in quantity is less for this price, but as long as we look at the quality of it I think it will be harsh to complain about.

I have used it many times to get a full experience before writing this review. Its texture is very smooth. It blends very well into skin and gives my face a smooth light coverage. I apply it whenever I have to go for a simple party as it doesn't give you full coverage but good enough to conceal little spots on your skin. I doesn't find it necessary to use concealer with as it give quite nice coverage. I didn't find my skin burst into oil even after 4 hours of its application but I think it is because I am used to apply loose powder after my foundation. Overall, It is a very good foundation and I will recommend it.

• Does not burst skin with oil, if followed by face powder or loose powder.
• Comes in 5 different shades.
• Easily available and affordable.

CONS:

• The product comes in a glass jar.
